Easy Tunna Casserole

Quick and easy tasty meal that can be varried easily to create different look and taste


  • 1 425gm can tuna spring (water or brine) drained

  • 1 420gm can tined soup (cream of chicken, celery, mushroom, corn, asparagus) or jar chicken tonight

  • 1 can baby carrots or 2 cups steamed carrots

  • 1 cup peas

  • 1 cup corn

  • 1 large onion diced

  • 2 table spoons oil

  • 1 cup grated cheese

  • 250 gms pasta spirals or bows or

  • 2 cups long grain rice

  • to change flavour can add

  • 125 gms creamed cheese


  • 1.

    In large pot on stove top

  • 2.

    Sautee onions in a little oil till soft

  • 3.

    Add tined soup

  • 4.


  • 5.

    Then add all other ingredients and stir till heated through

  • 6.

    Cooked Pasta can be added and stirred through or

  • 7.

    Serve on bed of rice

  • 8.

    Meal can be transferred to casserole dish and baked with cheese on top or served with cheese on top

  • 9.

    Serve with pasta or rice

  • 10.

    Cooking time add 25 min if baking in oven to brown cheese topping


You can add or subtract veggies to suit also nice with cream cheese mixed through
