Tamarind Fish

a simple cooking without using coconut curry



  • 1.

    First make the paste, mortar or blended the ingredients into paste. set aside.

  • 2.

    In pan, heat half water and, at comes to boil stir 2 tbs of the paste. add the bamboo shoot and stir well. the add fish but do not stir. add the remaining water and gently bring to boil, simmer and add tamarind paste(add a little water so the tamarind paste is slight liquidified), add fish sauce and sugar. bring back to the boil, then serve.
