Tuna and Cheese Mornay

Just a simple dish I make for a quick and easy evening meal



  • 1.

    Boil the pasta shells in salted water, when al dente remove and strain

  • 2.

    Melt butter in a saucepan remove from stove and then stir in flour to a paste gradually add milk until smooth, return to stove and stir in wine until boils and thickens, throw in a handful of grated cheese, the chopped shallots, chives and flaked tuna.

  • 3.

    Mix pasta in with it the put into two individual ramekin dishes cover with grated cheese and sprinkle with paptrika.Bake in a med oven for 1/2 hour. Serve with fresh warm bread rolls and a glass of wine.
