Morrocan Lamb

A butterflied leg of lamb marinated in spices, yoghurt and honey and barbequed.
A family favourite


  • i leg of lamb - boned

  • i small container natural yoghurt

  • i clove garlic

  • i tbsn honey

  • i teas ginger

  • 1 teas cummin powder

  • 1/2 teas cinnamon

  • 1 teas tumeric

  • 1 teas garam masala

  • 1 teas corriander power

  • 1 tbsn almond meal (optional)


  • 1.

    Mix all above ingredients, cover and refrigerate. Marinate for atleast 3 hours (overnight if possible).

  • 2.

    Heat barbeque and cook on slow for about 25 minutes.

  • 3.

    I serve this with a tossed green salad
