Cheese stuffed meatballs with bean casserole



  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 180ºC.

  • 2.

    Mix the spices into the sausage meat with soy sauce. Make a little hole in the sausage mixture. Push the Cheddar in and seal in a pan.

    Cut bacon into ½ in strips. Stretch it a little with the back of a knife. Wrap it around the meatball and colour on all sides. Cook in oven for 5 minutes.

  • 4.

    Melt the butter, add the oil, garlic, beans tomato and soy sauce and gently cook out.

  • 5.

    Slice the potatoes lengthways, pan fry with oil, butter and garlic. When coloured, place some of them on the bottom of the bowl, cover with the bean stew and place the meatballs on top. Place the remaining potatoes around the side, drizzle with olive oil and serve.
