Spicy chicken strips with ginger and carrot salad


Serves 2

Ingredients

For the spice mix

  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • A pinch of chilli powder
  • A pinch of ground coriander
  • A pinch cumin
  • A pinch chilli flakes
  • A pinch sugar
  • A pinch dried onion
  • A pinch dried mixed herbs
  • A pinch nutmeg

Method

  1. Roll the chicken breasts in the spice mix and shallow fry.
  2. To make the carrot salad in a bowl mix the grated carrot with the grated ginger, the lemon juice, oil, salt, and the mustard seeds.
  3. Serve the chicken with the carrot salad.
