Pea and Tuna Tagliatelle


This is one of the simplest of pasta dishes which you can throw from everyday ingredients like tinned tuna and frozen peas. What's more, it's ready in ten minutes.

Serves 1 to 2

Ingredients

  • 400g tagliatelle
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely sliced or diced
  • 250g frozen peas
  • 1 tin tuna in olive oil, drained
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add in the onion and sauté until soft, add in the frozen peas and tuna and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain the pasta and add to the onion and peas together with the tuna. Toss to combine and season to taste.
