In Yorkshire, it's traditional to eat Yorkshire pudding with homemade raspberry vinegar as a pudding. You can use also serve it with ice cream or as a sauce for pancakes.
Put the raspberries in a bowl, cover with malt vinegar and stand for 24 hours, then strain through muslin.
To one pint of raspberry syrup add 2lb of sugar, put in a pan and bring to the boil. When cold, bottle.
