This fragrant, boozy syrup is delicious poured over vanilla ice-cream or baked peaches.
Place a pan onto a high heat and leave to get hot.
In a bowl mix together the red wine, orange juice, sugar, vanilla, yoghurt, lemon and star anise.
When the pan is hot pour the red wine mixture into the pan making sure not to shake the pan. Allow to reduce for 1 minute.
Allow to cool and serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream.
