Christmas pudding topping

Antony's caramelised nuts are a sure-fire way to dress up your shop-bought pud.


  • 100g soft brown sugar

  • 100g butter

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup

  • large handful of  mixed nuts (brazils, pecans, hazelnuts, almonds)


  • 1.

    Melt the butter, syrup and sugar in a pan.

  • 2.

    Add the nuts.

  • 3.

    While warm, pour over the pudding.
