Bacon and Pear Rolls


Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 6 rashers streaky bacon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 apple or pear, core removed and cut into wedges

Method

  1. Place each rasher of bacon on a chopping board and using the back of a knife stretch it out a little.
  2. Sprinkle a little brown sugar over the middle of each one.
  3. Cut each rasher of bacon in half and wind around a piece of fruit.
  4. Bake along side the turkey or roast potatoes for 10 minutes.
