Maple Roast Chicken


  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 pinch of five spice powder

  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped

  • Squeeze of fresh lime

  • 2 cooked, sliced chicken breasts

  • Salad leaves, to serve


  • 1.

    Heat the maple syrup in a pan. Add the five spice, ginger, garlic and lime and reduce until slightly sticky.

  • 2.

    Add the sliced chicken breasts to the pan and coat with the mixture. Cool slightly, slice and then serve with some simple salad leaves.
