Contemporary mince pies

Ingredients

Method

  1. Brush sheets of filo pastry with egg and assemble four sheets in a star shape. 
  2. Alternatively brush a sheet of puff pastry with egg. 
  3. Place mince meat on the centre, add an apricot half, wrap up pastry and bake for 20 mins at 200 degrees celcius.
