Fresh and dried fruit salad with hot mulled syrup and seasonal nuts

A gorgeous combination of fresh fruit, dried fruit and nuts. This is a wonderful Christmas or winter dish.



  • 1.

    Arrange the fruit in a stack formation in the centre of the plate, place the orange segments around the stack. Place the wine, cinnamon stick, cloves and the sugar in a pan and reduce by one half.

  • 2.

    Then add the dried fruit and nuts and cook for a few minutes. Spoon the syrup over the fruit stack and arrange the dried fruit and nuts in between the orange segments and spoon over more syrup.

  • 3.

    Place the raspberries on top of the stack. Serve with a big dollop of sweetened whipped cream and sprig of mint.
