Tagliatelle with Tuna, Lemon and Rocket

This pasta is low in calories and fat but is satifyingly filling. You can throw it together in minutes from a handful of ingredients, and unbelievably, it's looks very elegant.


  • 300g tagliatelle

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • 2 tins of tuna, drained of the oil

  • handful of rocket

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • juice of 1 lemon


  • 1.

    Cook the pasta until al dente. Heat the olive oil in a pan, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Then add tuna, lightly mashed with a fork. Then stir in the rocket, season with salt and pepper, stir in lemon zest and juice.

    Drain the pasta, add to the sauce, mix well together and serve immediately.
