My boyfriend is addicted to this dish! The wings are just perfect. I followed both this recipe and the one on BBC Food website and it comes out great. the wings even get crispy at the top towards the end. Great kiddie food too for when all the little monsters come to visit.

I'm sorry to say that these wings lacked a moorishness in the flavour and oomph that (I feel) chicken wing recipes need to have. I made them to recipe (with the 5 cloves of garlic) but used bottled juice, not fresh, which may be the problem. I salvaged the wings (which were edible but just not yummy) by combining melted butter & maple syrup, a little honey zapped in the microwave and tossing the mix over the cooked wings. Now *that* was delicous! :)

I love these. They are so easy to make and are a real treat on a Friday night with some JD and Coke.
