Figs with Gorgonzola


  • 8 thin slices prosciutto or cullatello

  • 8 fresh figs

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 350 g cream

  • 180 g gorgonzola cheese


  • 1.

    Preheat oven 200 c

  • 2.

    Melt butter in saucepan, add cream and gorgonzola, reduce slightly.

  • 3.

    Wrap the figs with proscuitto and skewer them with a toothpick.

  • 4.

    Place the prepared figs into a ceramic dish, pour sauce over them and cover dish with alfoil, bake in oven for approx 15 mins.

  • 5.

    To serve, place figs on plate, drizzle with sauce and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
