Figs with Gorgonzola


Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 8 thin slices prosciutto or cullatello
  • 8 fresh figs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 350 g Cream
  • 180 g gorgonzola cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven 200 c
  2. Melt butter in saucepan, add cream and gorgonzola, reduce slightly.
  3. Wrap the figs with proscuitto and skewer them with a toothpick.
  4. Place the prepared figs into a ceramic dish, pour sauce over them and cover dish with alfoil, bake in oven for approx 15 mins.
  5. To serve, place figs on plate, drizzle with sauce and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
