The Elvis Sandwich


You wouldn't want to eat too many of these!

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 5 slices of cooked streaky bacon
  • 2 slices of white bread

Method

  1. In a heavy frying pan melt the butter until hot and foaming, place the bread in the butter and toast until golden brown, turning on both sides to be well coasted in butter. 
  2. Spread both slices of toasted bread with the creamy peanut butter. Slice the banana and place on a layer on the bread.
  3. Top with cooked slices of bacon, top with the other slice of toasted bread, and eat immediately.
