Fig and Tumeric Milk

This beautiful Indian dessert is so simple to make.



  • 1.

    Pour the milk into a heavy bottomed saucepan and add the turmeric and figs. Bring to the boil

  • 2.

    Remove from the heat. Take four cups or mugs, and put two figs at the bottom of each one. Pour the milk over the top and sweeten with honey. Serve at once.
