just made it, used 1 can chick peas, no oil, more lemon, 1 garlic clove, and half an avocado, with the tahini and sesame oil.. healthier version and very very yummy!
yep .. garlic measure is a bit OTT. I just tried it. I like adding a bit of heat to my mix.
Very very tasty. Thanks ppl for all the feedback and ideas. BTW I used organic canned Chickpeas.
For an even simpler way and cheaper use canned chick peas and can of cannelliin beans comes out creamier no need for tahini also zest the lemon over the top looks great!
Yummo, halved the serve & some minor tweaking - totally tasty. Did cheat by using canned chickpeas as it was a last minute addition to some Weber wrapped lamb, yoghurt & chilli.
Good but two cloves of garlic eek! I used half a clove and its still a tad overpowering and I luv lots of garlic usually. Might try roasted garlic in it next time. Yum!
Hummus is great, or "taybe" arabic word for "delicous"
