Montgomery's 'melting moment'

Method

  1. Butter the bread.
  2. Mix cheese, onion and leek together and place mixture on to the bread (non-buttered side).
  3. Sprinkle with black pepper and rock salt.
  4. Cover the sandwich mixture with the other bread slice (buttered side uppermost) then place under grill.
  5. Toast until crisp and golden, then remove.
  6. Serve alone or with crisp salad leaves and a vinaigrette dressing.
