I COULD NOT COOK TO SAVE MY LIFE BUT I MADE THIS PUDDING AND IT WAS PERRRFECT!!!! I AM SO PROUD. WILL DEFINATELY BE COOKING THIS NEXT TIME WE HAVE VISITORS FOR DINNER. THANKS BILL
i made this for my family and since then they can't stop asking me for making it almost 3 times a week, it's delicious and easy to prepare! i serve it with vanilla icecream!
People coming over for dinner, needed something that was a sure thing - my girlfriend Racquel reminded me how great a Choc pudding was, and I did a search and got this - YUMMO!! Thanks!! Dinner guests will love it!! Cheers, Michelle
I made this last night, but it didn't turn out like it looks in the photo.. the surface was cracked, should it be so ?? and should i take it out from the oven when the surface dries or no?? cz the center didn't dry, but i took it out anyways, cz it stayed like almost 35minutes in the oven and still top center was still wet.. I took a photo, i'll see if i can post it here so you'll see and comment PLEAAASE..
Mandy - you pour the water gently over the top on the uncooked pudding. It combines with the brown sugar and cocoa powder & sinks to the bottom of the bowl to form a sauce under the cake mix. Self saucing puddings are like magic!
A little confused with the recipe... where do put the boiled water.....i inside the pudding? or do u make a bainmarie with it? pl tell me... as im dying to try out this recipe
This pudding is fab.... l make it once a week for our family and their is never any left... and the best part is all the ingredients are right in your pantry
I experimented with one big dish. I found that 35 mins did the trick. I guess it depends on your oven and the dish you use (I used an oval casserole dish).
