Seafood Pasta

Ingredients

  • 500 g fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 500 g (approximate) basa fish fillets cut into 2cm pieces
  • 250 g (approximate) prawns peeled completely, deveined and sliced in half
  • 500 g (approximate) jar of pasta sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red or brown onion chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • Of chopped fresh coriander leaves and stems
  • Of one lemon
  • Of white wine

Method

  1. Cook pasta according to packet instructions.
  2. Heat pasta sauce in a saucepan.
  3. Heat oil in frypan. Fry onion and garlic until browned. Add fish and prawns and fry for 2 minutes. Add wine and lemon juice and simmer until fish and prawns are cooked. Remove pan from stove and add coriander.
  4. Mix drained pasta, pasta sauce and seafood. For a bit of heat, add chilli flakes.
  5. Serve immediately.
