Avocadamia & Pear Salad

  • 2 Avocados ripe but firm avocados

  • 40 g Macadamias

  • 2 Packham's pears

  • 1-2 Lemons

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


  • 1.

    Coarsely grind the macadamia nuts, either in a blender, or on a chopping board with a good knife.

  • 2.

    Peel the avocados and chop in cubes. Immediately brush with lemon juice.

  • 3.

    Peel the pears and chop in cubes of the same size.

  • 4.

    Gently mix the avocado and pear cubes with the ground macadamia nuts. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.


Choose avocados and pears which are firm and not too ripe or this delicious salad may turn into a less appetising gruel…
