Method

  1. Remove crusts and butter bread both sides. Press each slice into a muffin tray. Bake in 180C oven until golden.

  1. Make the white sauce as per instructions. Drain asparagus and mash with fork, add to white sauce.
  2. Season with sea salt and pepper serve in savoury cases topped with lemon zest.
