Pear, Rocket & Gorgonzola Salad

This beautiful, simple salad is a fantastic side dish for any meal.


  • 50g baby rocket

  • 4 raddiccchio leaves, shredded

  • 1 firm but ripe pear

  • 40g walnuts, roasted

  • 80g gorgonzola, roughly crumbled (or any other blue cheese)

  • Salt and pepper

  • 80ml olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 1.

    Place the rocket in a serving bowl along with the shredded raddicchio.

  • 2.

    Halve the pear, core and finely slice and add.

  • 3.

    Scatter the walnuts and cheese over.

  • 4.

    Whisk the olive oil and lemon juice together in a bowl and season to taste.

  • 5.

    Pour over the salad and toss gently to combine.


The combination of robust Gorgonzola with crisp pear slices is the ideal match for Dr. Oetker Ristorante’s moreish Pizza Spinaci. Best with a chilled glass of Pinot Gris.
