Berry and Muesli Porridge

This healthy breakfast recipe is an All-Bran Recipe Creation and serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 300g mixed berries, fresh or frozen (thawed)

  • 2 cups oats (cooked per packet instructions)

  • Muesli

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

  • 30g All-Bran Original

  • 1/3 cup chopped dried fruit

Method

  • 1.

    Divide the berries between four bowls and top with the hot porridge.

  • 2.

    Sprinkle with the muesli and serve.

  • Muesli:

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 150C.

  • 2.

    Spread the oats, seeds and nuts on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, stirring if necessary.

  • 3.

    Allow to cool and combine with the All-Bran and fruit. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Fibre per serve = 11.5g or 38% of recommended daily intake.
