Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 300 g flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 250 g butter cut into pieces
  • 80 ml ice-cold water

Method

  1. Put the flour and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the butter pieces and pinch with the fingers to create a crumb texture.
  3. Make a well in the middle and pour in the water.
  4. Quickly work the mixture to create dough.
  5. Divide into 2 disks, wrap in plastic, separately, and refrigerate 15 minutes before rolling out.
