Delightful Crab Tartlets

If you like seafood, then you are going to love these delicate crab tartlets as prepared by Come Dine With Me Australia's Kiri Brandli


  • Small tub of cherry tomatoes

  • 1 tbsp. chopped thyme

  • 10 saffron threads

  • Cup of cream

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 2 tbsp. chopped chives

  • 6 pastry case (short crust pasty)

  • 150 g crab meat


  • 1.

    Heat oven to 180C

  • 2.

    Put cherry tomatoes and thyme in small bowl, bake for 20 minutes

  • 3.

    Heat saffron threads 1/3 cup of hot water, reduce to 1 table spoon.

  • 4.

    Put saffron liquid in a bowl with cream, eggs yolks and chives.

  • 5.

    Whisk Put cherry tomatoes discard skin.

  • 6.

    Spoon mixture with crab and ladle cream mixture into case bake.
