Turkey, Leek and Ham Pie

A delicious British pie recipe that will be enjoyed by all!

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a pan add a knob of butter sauté the onion until soft without any colour
  2. Add the carrots and leek and sauté for 5 minute until carrots start to become soft
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms
  4. Cover with the cream and stock and simmer until its starts to thicken
  5. Finish by adding the turkey, ham, cayenne pepper and herbs
  6. Check the seasoning
  7. Pour into a pie dish 1/ 1.2 pint size
  8. Roll out the enough to cover the lid and add an extra strip around the edge
  9. Press firmly down and seal all around
  10. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with Parmesan cook in an oven for 20 minutes gas 6 250c
