Mackerel and Squid Roll

A great delicious British recipe for you to try at home!

Ingredients

For the Dipping Sauce

Method

  1. Slice the squid finely and chop the mackerel.
  2. Prepare all the vegetables by slicing finely.
  3. In a hot pan or wok, flash fry all the veg, remove from the pan.
  4. Add the squid and cook for 30 sec and remove.
  5. Mix all ingredients together and cool.
  6. Mix 20g flour into 100ml warm water to make into a thin paste.
  7. Brush the spring roll pastry completely with this.
  8. Wrap enough of the mix inside to feed everybody, then wrap again to ensure crispiness.
  9. Deep fry in hot oil at 180oc until crisp.
  10. Serve with the dipping sauce.
