Mackerel and Squid Roll

A great delicious British recipe for you to try at home!


  • For the Dipping Sauce


  • 1.

    Slice the squid finely and chop the mackerel.

  • 2.

    Prepare all the vegetables by slicing finely.

  • 3.

    In a hot pan or wok, flash fry all the veg, remove from the pan.

  • 4.

    Add the squid and cook for 30 sec and remove.

  • 5.

    Mix all ingredients together and cool.

  • 6.

    Mix 20g flour into 100ml warm water to make into a thin paste.

  • 7.

    Brush the spring roll pastry completely with this.

  • 8.

    Wrap enough of the mix inside to feed everybody, then wrap again to ensure crispiness.

  • 9.

    Deep fry in hot oil at 180oc until crisp.

  • 10.

    Serve with the dipping sauce.
