Cream Cheese Frosting


Cream Cheese Frosting

A frosting to go with any type of cake... I find banana and carrot cakes work best!

Ingredients

  • 500g icing sugar
  • 250g cream cheese (room tempreture!)
  • 2 tbs cream (if needed)

Method

  1. Place the cream cheese into a mixer, and beat until smooth and pliable.
  2. If needed, add a tablespoon of cream to the cream cheese to loosen it up.
  3. Add icing sugar, slowly (as it will fly up and cake your kitchen!) and incorporate into the cream cheese.
  4. Add more cream or icing sugar as needed - it should be malleable and spreadable!

I use light or fat-free cream cheese, to the same result.
