Broccoli Fried Rice


Broccoli Fried Rice

A simple fried rice that uses broccoli in it.This is a perfect lunch box dish.

Ingredients

  • Basmati rice-1 cup cooked
  • Broccoli-1 cut into florets
  • eggs-2 beaten
  • Onion-1 chopped finely
  • Garlic-5 cloves chopped
  • Ginger-1 inch piece minced
  • Soya sauce-1 tblspn
  • Vinegar-1 tblspn
  • Pepper-1 tsp
  • Sugar-1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves / spring onion- for garnishing

Method

  1. In a kadai heat oil and scramble beaten egg till done and remove it and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and fry some garlic and ginger.Add in onions and fry for 1min.
  3. Add in salt and sugar..Put in the broccoli florets and mix well.Cook for 5 min.
  4. Add in the cooked basmati rice and mix well.
  5. Throw in the scrambled eggs and mix well.
  6. Add in vinegar and soya sauce and mix well.Throw in pepper and toss well.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and mix well...
  8. Serve hot..
