This recipe is from episode 23 of Good Chef Bad Chef series 3.
In a large baking dish, butter the inside, then sprinkles the buttered edges with 2 tbsp sugar.
Lay out bread in alternate slices around until all the bread is in the dish, and sprinkling the raisins evenly throughout.
Mix the sugar with the cream eggs and milk and cinnamon.
Pour over the bread, this may need to be done is smaller batches to allow the mixture to soak in. Allow soaking for an hour.
Bake in an oven at 175c for 30 – 40 min until the pudding has set and the top is golden brown and crunchy.
Serve with fresh cream.
