Blackberry Kir Royale

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients

  • 1 pint blackberries
  • 1/4 cup black currant liqueur (recommended: creme de cassis)
  • 1 bottle prosecco or cava, chilled

Method

  1. Puree berries in a blender or food processor with 1/4 cup black currant liqueur. Pour pureed berries through a fine mesh sieve placed over a container with pourable spout.
  2. Fill champagne glasses about 1/4 full with the puree and top with the sparkling wine of your choice. A la votre!!!!
