Ingredients

  • 1 x t-bone steak
  • 1 x porterhouse steak
  • 1 x rump steak
  • Olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  1. Take a t-bone steak and add salt and pepper to all sides of the stake.
  2. Add a teaspoon of olive oil to the steak and rub it in.
  3. Add the steak to the hot pan until the meat is seared.
  4. When both sides are seared take the steak out of the pan and roast in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
  5. Let steak rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Take the porter house steak and add salt to all sides.
  7. Render down the fat on the steak and brown the steak on all sides.
  8. Keep turning the steak till cooked.
  9. Let steak rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Take the rump steak and add salt and pepper to both sides of the steak.
  11. Rub in a teaspoon of olive oil to either side of the steak and place on a hot pan.
  12. Fry for 1 ½ minutes until rump is golden brown.
  13. Turn once or twice then remove the steak from the pan.
  14. Let steak rest for 5 minutes.
