nargishi kofta


Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • • 4 eggs (boiled)
  • • 300 gms chicken (minced)
  • • 100 gms besan
  • • 6 green chillies
  • • 6 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • • 1 tsp coriander (chopped)
  • • 1 onion (chopped)
  • • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • • 200 gms cream
  • • 100 ml milk
  • • 75 gms cashew nuts
  • • 2 tsp pepper powder
  • • 3 tsp onion paste
  • • 2 cinnamons
  • • 4 cloves
  • • 4 cardamoms
  • oil for frying
  • • 4 tbsp ghee
  • salt to tast

Method

  1. How to make Nargisi Kofta:
  2. Add green chillies, grated ginger,
  3. chopped coriander, onion, cumin seeds
  4. and salt to the Besan.
  5. Add minced chicken and mix it well.
  6. Prepare dough for this mixture by adding
  7. water.
  8. Make balls from this mixture.
  9. Flatten the balls and put egg in the
  10. centre.
  11. Heat the oil and fry these balls.
  12. Kofta is ready.
  13. Heat the ghee in a pan.
  14. Add cinnamons, cardamoms, ginger
  15. garlic paste, onion paste and tomato
  16. puree.
  17. Stir it well and fry for 5 minutes.
  18. Now add pepper powder and turmeric
  19. powder.
  20. Fry till oil is separated.
  21. Mix cream, milk and water.
  22. Heat the mixture over low heat for 20
  23. minutes.
  24. Gravy for kofta is ready.
  25. Add koftas in gravy.
  26. Cook for 20 minutes.
  27. Nargisi Kofta is ready.
