BBQ Ribs Dry Rub


BBQ Ribs Dry Rub

A blend of herbs and spices perfect for Pork, Beef or Chicken BBQ.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • Dry rub mix:
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbl mixed herbs
  • 2 tbl rock sea salt
  • To make this a marinade:
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 2 tbl dry rub mix

Method

  1. Dry Rub:
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients together. This can be used straight away or put into a jar for later use.
  3. Marinade:
  4. Combine the bbq sauce with the dry rub mix. Check for seasoning then apply to the meat.

Notes & Tips

If using for pork or beef ribs, put the meat into a zip lock bag along with the marinade or dry rub mix and let sit in the fridge for a few hours.
