Cranberry sauce


Ingredients

  • 500g fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cloves

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients into a saucepan and simmer over a medium-high heat. Let it bubble away and the cranberries should be cooked after 40 mins. The cranberries should be tender and the mix should be syrupy but not like jam consistency.
  2. Take the saucepan off the heat and remove the cinnamon and cloves. You can serve it hot or cold with turkey.
