add flours and butter in a dish poor over hot water and mix to form the pastry
after needed wrap in plastic and place in fridge for an hour while your waiting on the pastry start on the filling
Filling
first place in a saucepan the mince brown then add veggies and then add beef stock leave to bubble stirring constantly then lower the heat and cover and simmer for at least 30 Min's
when cooked to perfection add gravy to thicken
allow to cool completely
take the pastry out of fridge you can either make a pie or pasties gran use to do either way
roll out dough and use a soup plate to cut perfectly round circle place the filling in and tucked up the edges to shape the pasties
use egg wash on top if you like i think its great with out it

Notes & Tips
allow to cool a little be fore serving and serve with salad or veggies or just by its self
the pastry can be used for pies and sweet pies etc if you want to use it for sweet pastries just add a little bit of sugar
