Sicilian Ice Cream and Mascarpone with Fresh Marinated Berries

Try Mark's dessert from week 4 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.


  • 4 punnets of strawberries, raspberries (use seasonal fruit).

  • 4-6 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 4-6 tablespoon raw sugar

  • 1 large tub mascarpone (bought)

  • 1 large tub sicilian ice cream (bought)

  • 1 x packet shortbread biscuits (bought)

  • honey


  • 1.

    Cut strawberries and berries into 4 pieces

  • 2.

    Over the berries sprinkle sugar and lemon juice. Leave to marinate for 3-4 hours in fridge

  • 3.

    Add 2 long squeezes of honey to the Mascarpone and crushed short bread biscuits.

  • 4.

    Serve with Sicilian Ice Cream
