Japanese Biifu Karee Raisu

Try Kyoko's main from week 2 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.

Ingredients

  • 250g beef
  • Flour for dusting
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 litre beef/vegetable stock
  • 4 cubes Japanese curry roux

Method

  1. Cube stewing beef and dust in flour, and curry powder.
  2. In a pan heat oil and brown meat.
  3. Add chopped onions, carrots, mushrooms and potatoes and stock and cook slowly.
  4. Add Japanese curry roux and simmer until creamy.
  5. Serve with steamed rice.
