Japanese Biifu Karee Raisu

Try Kyoko's main from week 2 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.


  • 250g beef

  • Flour for dusting

  • 1 tbsp curry powder

  • 2 onions

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 potatoes

  • 1 litre beef/vegetable stock

  • 4 cubes Japanese curry roux


  • 1.

    Cube stewing beef and dust in flour, and curry powder.

  • 2.

    In a pan heat oil and brown meat.

  • 3.

    Add chopped onions, carrots, mushrooms and potatoes and stock and cook slowly.

  • 4.

    Add Japanese curry roux and simmer until creamy.

  • 5.

    Serve with steamed rice.
