Method

  • 1.

    Roughly chop the herbs and place them on the steak with plenty of sea salt on both sides.

  • 2.

    Heat a flat or char grill with a little olive oil and grill the steaks about 10 minutes on one side then 7 minutes on the other.

  • 3.

    Remove the steaks from the heat, cover with foil and leave them to rest for 10 minutes.

I tried this dish with dried herbs and still it was awesome! I mist out on the sage, however the ingredients still made an amazingly delicious dish. Make sure you add plenty of sea salt as suggested as this really brings out the flavour!

Husband loved this as he is a big steak eater. He said it brought all the flavours out in the steak and could have eaten just the steak and nothing else.
