Pan-grilled pineapple and apples

Looking for a quick dessert that's healthy and tastes great too? Look no further.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Cut pineapple and apples into wedges.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar over a tray lined with baking paper. Working in batches, place a few pieces of fruit in the sugar, making sure you coat both sides well.
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Pan-grill fruit for two minutes on each side or until dark and golden.
  4. Remove and repeat with remaining fruit.
  5. Serve with vanilla ice-cream.
