Prime rib-eye with garlic and seeded mustard butter

Try Jesse's main course from week 2 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.

Ingredients

  • 5 prime rib-eye steaks on the bone
  • 20 baby potatoes
  • 30 snow peas
  • 6 small corn cobs
  • 20 baby carrots
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Cracked pepper
  • Sea salt
  • Seeded mustard
  • Butter

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 180C.
  2. Cut the potatoes in half and cook in the oven with olive oil for approximately 1hour with fresh rosemary and slithers of garlic.
  3. Coat meat with olive oil and season with sea salt and cracked pepper.
  4. Cook steaks evenly on either side on BBQ, turning only once to your liking.
  5. Serve steaks with a mixture of wholegrain mustard and garlic butter.
  6. Steam the veggies and add butter to the peas and honey to the carrots.
  7. Partially cook corn in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  8. Place corn onto the BBQ to brown up, then butter and season with salt and pepper.
