Chilli Meatballs

Little bitesize balls of chilli & sesame seeds with a dipping sauce of smokey bbq sauce & chilli

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg x sausage mince, 1/2 kg x pork or chicken mince, 1 cup sesame seeds,1tbls chinese five spice, 1tbls soy sauce, 3 diced birds eye chillies (de-seeded) or mexican powder to taste, 1tbs tomato sauce, 1 x garlic clove crushed, 1/2 tsp ground ginger.

Method

  • 1.

    Mix all ingredients together into bitesize balls.

  • 2.

    Deep Fry in hot oil in batches. Drain on absorbent paper.

  • 3.

    Sauce: Mix Sweet Chilli Sauce with Smokey BBQ Sauce to your taste.

  • 4.

    Hot chilli sauce or Plum Sauce are also good too.

Notes

Deep fry in small batches. This recipie isn't the same if you bake them. The sesame seeds come to the outer edge of the ball when fried in a deep fryer or pot of oil. Make sure they are small bitesize pieces.
