Matthew Hayden’s Eggnog

Make this sweet, milky drink at your next get-together for something different or add a dash of brandy to turn this recipe into a cocktail!


  • 4 eggs

  • 3 dessert spoons of brown sugar

  • 1 fresh vanilla pod

  • 1.5 litres of milk

  • .25 grated nutmeg


  • 1.

    Crack four eggs into a litre and a half of milk. Whisk until smooth.

  • 2.

    Add sugar and vanilla pod and grate nutmeg over the top.

  • 3.

    Whisk again until smooth and add ice.
