Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, one garlic clove, one tsp of mixed herbs and pinch of salt and pepper in to a medium pot, and cook an a medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Mix mince, egg, bread crumbs, pinch of salt and pepper, and remaining garlic and herbs in a bowl and roll into balls.
Place meatballs under grill and cook on high turning until all sides are brown and meat appears cooked through.
Add Spaghetti to boiling water and cook as directed on pack.
Meanwhile add meatballs to sauce and remove from heat.
Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Sometimes I add a pinch off chili flakes, for an extra kick.
