Chocolate Sundaes

Sundae

1. Take 2 sundae glasses, into each put 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream,1 scoop of chocolate ice cream,1/2 a sliced banana, then drizzle each with 1 tbsp of hot chocolate sauce,1 tbsp of hot toffee sauce, sprinkle each with 1 tbsp of toasted and chopped nuts and finish off with 1 tbsp of whipped cream!!

Chocolate Sauce

1. Place the chocolate, butter and water in a small saucepan and very gently melt it , stirring regularly do not allow it to boil , add liqueur if required. Do try to use a good quality chocolate for this , something with at least 50% cocoa solids.Keeps for weeks in the fridge , if you can manage not to eat it all in one sitting.

Toffee Sauce

1. Put all the ingredients into a saucepan on the heat , and boil for about 4 or 5 minutes , until it is smooth , stirring regularly.
