You’ll be amazed how fluffy this Banana cake is. In addition, it’s a one-bowl, easy cake to make. The Chocolate sauce just adds a kick to this lovely spongy cake. Enjoy!

Ingredients
***For CAKE:
Dry ingredients: 1 ½ cup sifted Flour+ 1 cup Oatmeal+ 1 ¼ cup Sugar+ 3 tsp Baking Powder+ ½ tsp Baking Soda+ ½ tsp Salt+ ½ tsp Nutmeg
3 medium ripe Bananas (or 1 ¼ cup), mashed
½ cup Oil
½ cup Butter Milk (or ½ cup Milk+ 1 ½ tsp Lemon juice, mix& set aside for few minutes)
2 eggs+ 1 tsp Vanilla extract
***For CHOCOLATE SAUCE:
½ stick (¼ cup) Butter+ ½ cup Dark Cocoa+ 1 tsp Vanilla extract+ 2/3 cup Icing sugar+ 2 tbsp Milk
Add oil+ mashed Banana and mix using electric mixture. Add eggs+ vanilla+ butter milk and mix well for 3 minutes.
Pour batter in greased& battered tube baking tray. Bake in 375F (or 180C) preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or till a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in cake.
Remove from oven. Set in tray 10 minutes. Remove and cool on a rack. Transfer to serving plate, drizzle with chocolate sauce and decorate with whole walnut pieces.
***PREPARING SAUCE:
While cake is baking, prepare the sauce: melt butter. Add cocoa and stir with whisk till smooth. Add icing sugar+ milk, stir well till smooth. Add vanilla and stir. If sauce is very thick, add 1-2 tbsp water and stir. Set aside to cool. (You can add or reduce the amount of sugar in the sauce according to your preference).
